Welcome

I am a freelance Web site designer specializing in professional personal and small business Web sites. For almost 10 years (1998 to 2007), I was the Webmaster and Information Technology Consultant to the School of Government (SOG) at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC). At the end of November 2007, I retired from UNC to become a stay-at-home father. I now do freelance Web site design and consulting for individuals and small companies interested in having a clean, professional Web presence. My Design Philosophy/Approach

Bringing your vision online professionally is my goal. I am responsble for making sure your site meets standard and accepted design prinicples so visitors will easily explore and enjoy the content of your site. Since most of my experience comes from having to maintain a university Web site that had to be compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), I am very familiar with design fundamentals. My designs will load quickly and correctly across browsers and make the user experience a very positive one. When we work together, we will work on translating your vision into a reality on the Web.
